Hills Sanctuary House works to bring mental health challenges out of darkness and isolation through supporting individuals to find overall mental, physical and social wellness in the Hills District.

We aim to achieve this goal by building up a community with a strong sense of social ties and belonging. This is accomplished through holding regular gatherings, activities and workshops for members of all age groups.

Mental Wellness

HSH is passionate about educating our community on the mental health issues each of us face, with the hope to improve self awareness and coping skills. Our aim is to encourage a balanced and holistic approach to achieve mental health and wellbeing.

Social Wellness

HSH understands having an authentic, open and safe space, is pivotal to breaking down barriers, relieving social isolation and establishing healthy relationships. Being true to self is one of the strongest components of strong mental health and wellbeing. Our aim is to hold social gatherings that foster growth in these areas.

Physical Wellness

HSH acknowledges research findings that those who exercise regularly achieve better mental health and experience lower rates of mental illness. Our aim is to provide consistency and connection to the natural environment by launching an exercise program that encourages and sustains mental health and emotional wellbeing.
